The machine pictured on the right is a Hines dynamic vertical balancing machine (HVR) configured and tooled for balancing flywheels.
Features include:
- Single Plane, 500 lb. capacity, hard suspension balancing.
- Transfer: A set of input roller conveyors on a lift is used to manually load the workpiece onto the machine. The part is slid onto the machine by the operator and onto the elevator. The elevator lowers the flywheel onto the tooling. Once the part is measured, the lift will raise the part off the tooling and the operator slides it off of the machine.
- Correction: A manually activated vertical drill with automatic drill return
The balancing machine pictured here is a fully-automatic flywheel balancing machine.
These are just a couple examples of the many configurations and weight ranges available.
