These are different types of knifeblades that the Vinyl Mate uses and are used for different types of vinyl. They can be purchased at any sign supply store that sells Roland knifeblades. There are full details of where to purchase knife blades in the Instructions that come with the Vinyl Mate.

About blades: Quality cuts depend on the degree of the blade the down force and the right blade depth. Standard  blades are 45 degree. A standard or lower degree blade may not cut thicker materials because the blades get buried in the material. A steeper angle blade ( 60 degree ) is tall enough to cut all the way through thick material and will pivot easier when cutting corners. The quality of the cut also depends on the sharpness of the blade.
